Arlington Republicans have several events through the end of June to give you an opportunity to become engaged and involved in our efforts.

You’re encouraged to participate in any or all of these events:

Storage Unit Clean Out
(Tomorrow)

The Arlington GOP still has a large storage unit with furniture items located at the Public Storage at 6319 Arlington Blvd, Seven Corners, VA 22044. The Arlington GOP doesn’t need any of these items, and I’d like to close out the storage unit soon to save the Committee money.

Here is a visual inventory of the remaining items:

I hope to have this storage unit cleaned out entirely by the end of June. I will be at the storage unit tomorrow (Saturday, June 15th) starting at 9am to try to close out this project. Please let me know if you’d like to help by replying to this email. 

A number of you have already replied that you’d either help or you’re interested in an item or items in the storage unit. I will follow up with you today to confirm.

Also, if you’re interested in any of the items you see above, know a place we can dispose of or donate them, or want to help with this effort, please let me know.

Vote in the U.S. Senate Primary

The Primary Election for U.S. Senate is Tuesday, June 18th.

Virginia Primary Election Watch Party

Join the Arlington-Alexandria-Falls Church Young Republicans and the Arlington GOP on Tuesday, June 18th, as we watch primary election results at our Virginia Primary Election Watch Party at Barley Mac in the Courthouse-Rosslyn neighborhood.

Marksmanship & Advocacy Workshop

With Leadership Institute’s Marksmanship & Advocacy Workshop on June 29th, your right to self-defense no longer needs to be a moving target. This course will demystify firearms while making it fun, easy, and safe for beginner and intermediate shooters to take their first shot or improve their aim. 

This course counts towards requirements for the Concealed Carry permit in Virginia and toward being able to buy firearms in DC and Maryland. Hiring: Arlington Office of Voter Registration & Elections

Arlington County is seeking temporary employees for a variety of positions to support the Office of Voter Registration and Elections during the 2024 General Election. Positions will last up to 4 months starting in September and run until November 5th, 2024 with the greatest need for October 14th to November 8th. Applicants should be available for a minimum of 10 hours/ week from October 19th to November 2nd. Hours are variable and will increase closer to the election. Evening and weekend hours are available.

Arlington Republicans are preparing to file paperwork for our candidate for County Board this week. As your Chairman, it is my top priority to ensure we participate fully in local elections — and that means having a competent, qualified Republican candidate for Arlington County Board to give voters a choice in local elections.
