Newsletter: Virginia is in Play.

The latest polls paint a disturbing picture for Joe Biden’s re-election prospects — with his defeat running right through Virginia.

You’ve likely read in these emails or heard me say this dozens of times: The work we do in Arlington and across Northern Virginia drives up Republican votes for our statewide candidates.

In the short-term, it delivers state-wide victories like Governor Youngkin, Lieutenant Governor Earle-Sears, and Attorney General Jason Miyares in 2021.

In the long-run, it allows us to build out the necessary infrastructure to rack up electoral wins in Arlington, Alexandria, the City of Falls Church, Fairfax, and elsewhere across Northern Virginia.

I know sometimes it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but you and I must keep chugging along.

Huge shoutout the the Fairfax and Loudoun Republicans for hosting Virginia’s own Scott Presler at a joint Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) training last week. Scott shared his experience and insights with more than 100 activists from across Northern Virginia.

You can read all about it from the Fairfax GOP here

Scott’s message ahead of this training should be echoed over and over again throughout this election cycle:

Virginia is in play… I need you to get active. I need you to join your local Republican Party. I need you to become an Election Day worker. I need you to focus on voter registration.”

Thanks to everyone who helped continue our storage unit clean-out efforts over the weekend. There are just a few items remaining, but I am confident we can close out this costly expense by the end of the month.

Here are upcoming opportunities to get involved with conservative and Republican efforts across Arlington and Northern Virginia:

Vote in the U.S. Senate Primary

The Primary Election for U.S. Senate is tomorrow — Tuesday, June 18th.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to cast your ballot early or on Primary Day in Arlington. Your Republican candidates for U.S. Senate are (in the order they appear on your ballot in Arlington):

While each candidate has spoken to the Arlington Republicans at a gathering over the last 12 months, the asterisk denotes candidates who have made a contribution to the Arlington GOP.

I cannot stress how important it is to make a plan to vote. It’s so important that I even wrote about it on #SuperTuesday earlier this year.

Virginia Primary Election Watch Party

They’ll cover legal responsibilities and regulations on self-defense, marksmanship, and how to identify and make public comment on legislation. Half the spots are already taken and it will be sold out! Get your registration locked and loaded ASAP.

Local Candidate Update

Arlington Republicans are preparing to file paperwork for our candidate for County Board this week. As your Chairman, it is my top priority to ensure we participate fully in local elections — and that means having a competent, qualified Republican candidate for Arlington County Board to give voters a choice in local elections.

Please consider chipping in $25, $50, $100, or more to the Arlington GOP so we can successfully launch our candidate’s campaign.
