Your hard work and dedication paid off in Arlington — and in key communities across Northern Virginia.

All told, there was a 91,000 vote swing AGAINST Kamala Harris and the Democrats and TOWARD Donald Trump and the Republicans across Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, and Loudoun.

Donald Trump made significant gains across nearly EVERY demographic, including big shifts among 18-29 year olds and 30-44 year-olds, as well as Hispanic, Asian, and Black voters:

That’s YUGE…

There are so many people to thank — members, donors, and volunteers (both first-time and longtime), and Juan Carlos Fierro, our candidate for Arlington County Board.

The Arlington GOP will have an opportunity to thank every one of you at our Volunteer Appreciation Dinner sometime later this month or early next month.

But I want to take the opportunity in this email to specifically thank Trump Force 47 Virginia Director Mike Young, as well as Jonathon Nave and Sam Hazen, who helped manage the Trump campaign operation on the ground in Northern Virginia.

In my 15 years in Northern Virginia Republican politics, I have never seen such a seamless transition from Convention to campaign — all because of Mike’s leadership and Jonathon and Sam’s diligent execution of a brilliant voter engagement strategy.

You never gave up on Northern Virginia — and your efforts changed the map, putting Virginia in play and giving Republicans in the area something for which we could strive.

Our efforts don’t stop here.

Over the next few weeks, I will communicate with Republican leaders across Northern Virginia to learn more about the efforts they undertook in their communities, so we can build on our success in 2025 and beyond.

One thing I know: It will take increased dedication, commitment, and support from you for Unit Committee efforts across Northern Virginia to hold onto our statewide elected offices and re-take the House of Delegates in 2025.

I am already actively recruiting candidates to run for the three House of Delegates seats in Arlington, as well as County Board and School Board.

If you’re interested in running for public office or stepping into leadership positions on this Committee, please let me know as soon as you can. 

You can take a week or so to rest, but you and I must get back to work.

The clock’s ticking. There are 363 days until Election Day 2025.
